MEET YOUR 2023 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

JANNA MOONEY, Lead Program Director

I am married to Aaron Mooney who has been with the department since 2001. While we don’t have children, we are expecting a new chocolate lab fur baby end of February and can’t wait. I love spending time and spoiling my nieces Abigayle & Goldie, or so many of the fire family kids within Anaheim and other departments that I am blessed to be apart of their lives. You just never know what life has in store for you regardless of your plans; my personal experience of infertility gave me an increased passion to embrace life to the fullest, hold my friends and family closer and count every blessing! I am Realtor in Orange County with 26 years of experience; a slight workaholic but absolutely love what I do! In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with close friends and family, traveling to new places, camping in our fifth wheel, catching a baseball game, or relaxing at our little river getaway spot in Parker. I am extremely excited to help grow our fire family, strengthen ties and hope that everyone will step outside of their comfort zone, and bond together to build something great!

KATHY LAZAR, Treasurer

My name is Kathy Lazar and I am married to Ryan Lazar who has been a part of this department since 2005. Together we have three children: Ayva (7), Owen (5) and Willow (1). When we are not busy with the hustle and bustle, we enjoy traveling together as a family. We admire the outdoors and always look forward to our next camping trip with family and friends. In addition to being a mom and a wife, I am also a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. I have been in the real estate industry for 15 years. My passion is connecting with people, being a source of support, and/or a lending hand. I am so honored to be a part of a wonderful fire family, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. We have so much in store for this organization and we are hopeful it will bring us all together.

JILL DUNN, Secretary

My name is Jill Dunn, and my husband Mark has been with Anaheim Fire & Rescue since 1989. I’ve worked in Corporate Affairs for Chevron since 2006. Family is our number one priority, and between the two of us we have nine children: Bailee, Dylan, Thomas, Emily, Nicole, Jason, Robby, Ryan and Kelley, and four grandchildren: Kylie, Amanda, Liam and Sicily. When we’re not busy with work and our family, Mark and I enjoy going to the beach, traveling to sunny places, and indoor cycling.
I love meeting, working with, and connecting with all kinds of people. I am so excited to be a part of the Anaheim Fire Family Board, and I look forward to working with the members to support and bring our fire families together.

NICOLE LINDSTROM, Marketing Director

Hi my name is Nicole Lindstrom. I am married to Shane Lindstrom. Shane has been with the department since 2006 which feels longer (ha ha), Shane quit a .com job a month after we got married and decided to try the fire fighting path. Thankfully he got hired and I got pregnant with our first child that year too. I can write a book about that!! I work in Marketing and PR with my small business Lindstrom Media for 15 years. I love being involved in the community and I sit on the Community Advisory Committee Board for Capistrano Unified as the Ability Awareness Chair, helping parents with children with special needs as well as promoting and helping with Ability Awareness Days within our district. It’s my passion! My hope is to connect families as well as fun events for us to meet up! We have been with the department for a while but life gets busy and I would love to support and be part of the Anaheim Fire Family. We have two children, Mason (16) and Madeline (13) as well as two crazy dogs. As a family you can find us on the pool deck watching high school water polo, beach volleyball at Doheny and camping!!

NEDA ANDERSON, Family & Child Resource Director

My name is Neda Anderson and my husband Jake has been with Anaheim Fire for almost 20 years. He works at Station 6 for the Hazmat Team. We have 2 awesome kids and our 11 year old dog Charlie. Abby is 16 and Travis is 15 and they both attend Mission Viejo High School. We love watching them play sports. I currently work at an Interior Design firm with my sister and I love it. I’m looking forward to creating more friendships with the families in Anaheim. I am also very excited to help on the Anaheim Fire Family board.

ANDREA MORRIS, Events Director

My name is Andi Morris and my husband Bryan has been with the department since 2001. I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom to our two amazing kids that keep us busier than ever. Hudson is 11 and Harlow is 8, and they are both in year round sports, music lessons, and martial arts. So basically I’m an uber driver! We adopted a puppy who is now 1 year (Shasta) just to really make life crazy. When we aren’t at home in Huntington Beach spending our free time with family and friends, I am trying to cram in as many camping trips as possible with friends. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the this incredible fire family, and am looking forward to meeting those of you whom I haven’t met yet!

HEIDI GILIA, Assistant Director

My name is Heidi Gilia and I am married to Jeno Gilia who has been with the department since 2005. We have two daughters Zella (8) and Rayze (6), in addition to 4 chickens and a bunny, who thinks she's a dog. We are currently in search of a puppy to add to our family. I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom until the 2022 school year when I went back as a substitute teacher in Huntington Beach. The same year I became Rayze’s girl scout troop leader and involved with the Parent Teachers Organization(PTO/PTA) at our school. When I am not teaching, I’m volunteering in the girls’ classes. Both our girls love soccer and I was able to coach both of their teams. We are big football fans and die hard Chiefs fans, so now the girls are also starting up Flag Football. We love to travel as a family and with many of our friends. I am very excited to start this new adventure with the Anaheim Fire Family and be able to meet some new people. Many of my closest friends have come from this community and am excited to help others as well as myself continue to create these tight community/family bonds.
